Function: Finance - Star Pubs

Location: Edinburgh (a mix of office and home working)

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below. (Salary is based on full-time hours)

Contract: 2 x 12 month Fixed Term Contract positions - 1 x Full Time & 1 x Part Time (2.5 days per week)

There’s so much more to HEINEKEN than meets the eye and right now, we’re looking for a Credit Risk Controller to join our Finance team in Edinburgh.

As a Credit Risk Controller, your focus will be supporting pub operators within our managed house estate – Just Add Talent (JAT). You’ll work closely with field-based teams, including Business Development Managers and Regional Operations Directors, to make sure our operators are compliant with the expected cash position and cash handling duties.

• Handling all banking queries for our Just Add Talent (JAT) sites
• Reconciling cash collections and banking activity
• Arranging operator payments
• Managing exit statement collections
• Running credit control MI and reporting
• Credit checking prospective operators for Capex deals

We’re looking for someone with a finance or banking background who can hold confident and robust conversations with our customers. Making decisions that benefit both us and the outlets and working at pace will be key.

• Are comfortable working with numbers and bank reconciliations
• Have a good understanding of the Microsoft suite including Excel
• Good systems experience with Zonal or similar Epos systems
• Can build relationships with internal and external stakeholders through great communication skills
• Have an eye for detail and can maintain accurate records
• Experience with Business Central and MI Reporting & Power BI would be fantastic, though not essential
