Financial Analyst

Santa Barbara Focal plane is relying on innovative, data‑driven solutions to achieve success. You will be the Financial Analyst for the Finance Team, responsible for delivering financial insight and stewardship across multiple programs.

As the Financial Analyst you will be responsible for driving program financial performance, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting contract execution.

• Monitor program performance, develop estimates at completion, and report budget and schedule variances.
• Prepare quarterly cost status reports and present financial results to MFC leadership.
• Execute contract close‑out activities and support proposal surge efforts.
• Collaborate with multifunctional teams to reduce product cost and improve contract performance.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. This position requires special access.

• Familiarity with LM/MFC systems, practices, procedures, and program personnel.
• Advanced computer skills – Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, Word, Access, Tableau.
• Strong working knowledge of FAR.
• Experience with SAP and Oracle.
• Prior proposals experience.
• Existing security clearance is a plus / ability to obtain clearance.
