This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Officer based in Melville, NY. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting clients with loan applications, reviewing loan alternatives, providing loan status updates, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Duties will include evaluating loan applications, working closely with underwriters, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products. This role involves both in-office work and work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications- Experience as Loan Officer and with the Mortgage Industry
- Knowledge of Mortgage Lending and Underwriting processes
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Proficiency in using mortgage industry software and online application platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience in a Direct Lender or similar setting is a plus
