This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Loan Officer, based in Pleasant Hill, CA, with opportunities for remote work. The Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining mortgage loans by evaluating their financial information, providing tailored recommendations, and ensuring compliance with lending standards. Day‑to‑day tasks include loan origination, customer communication, collaborating with underwriting teams, and guiding borrowers throughout the loan process.
This role also involves maintaining a strong knowledge of mortgage products and fostering positive relationships with clients and community partners.
- Expertise in loan origination and underwriting processes, with a strong understanding of finance principles and loan officers' responsibilities.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
- Proven ability to manage loan applications, assess credit information, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines for mortgage lending.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in relevant financial software and technology platforms.
- Current state licensing as a Loan Officer in California is required; additional licensing in other states is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
