What Our Financial Advisors Do- Act as the personal coach to our Nation’s military families and focus on a constantly evolving financial plan that meets short‑term and long‑term goals.
- Help military families manage day‑to‑day finances, build lifetime assets, and protect against the unexpected.
- Engage with the community to bring new clients to First Command, supported by the local district team and Home Office.
- Partner directly with local military organizations, military units, and other supporting institutions.
- Coach military families on building a comprehensive financial plan that includes:
- Savings/banking
- Investments/wealth management
- Insurance/risk management
- Specialized licensing and comprehensive training program designed for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses to start and grow a successful Financial Advisor career.
- Sponsor pursuit of full registration and licensing using our tools and resources.
- Prepare and test for SIE, S6, S63, S65, and state Life & Health licenses.
- Opportunity to join paid training program with a local district office upon successful completion.
- Initial 3‑month hourly wage at state minimum wage, thereafter transition to salaried position with progressive incentives during the nine‑month paid training period.
- Upon completion of paid trainee program, opportunity to become independent contractor Financial Advisor, controlling career trajectory and compensated based on work and results.
- No cap on earning potential; compensation reflects effort and based on competitive commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation.
