We are working with a large Investment Firm that is looking to bring on an Assistant Tax Director. The firm has an excellent reputation and a very successful track record – there are a lot of opportunities due to so much growth in their funds. They have doubled in the last 4 years and continue to grow. They offer excellent benefits including free lunches (daily), free parking, very nice offices, etc.

Their bonuses are progressive so the longer you are an employee, the bigger your bonuses become. They also have a flexible schedule with 2 days per week working from home. Compensation is VERY competitive.

• Tax consulting related to fund investments – understanding dividend, interest and capital gains tax rules and rates and other issues in various jurisdictions (U.S. and foreign), communicating with investment professionals, and developing and implementing appropriate structures.
• Tax consulting related to Company’s partners and management companies – understanding federal, state, local and U.K. tax rules and issues relevant to the ownership and operation of Company’s business, communicating with the firm’s partners and senior managers, and developing and implementing appropriate structures.
• Coordinate with Fund Accounting, Investor Accounting, and Financial Reporting to obtain data for tax return preparation.
• Prepare U.S. and international tax returns for funds, management companies and partners.
