What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our U.S. team at our Arlington, Texas headquarters. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home up to three days a week, with at least two days in the office.

Thrive’s Accountant works to ensure our company maintains strong financial results and healthy employee relationships through effective and efficient bookkeeping, bi‑monthly payroll, handling deposits, financial transactions, creating and maintaining month‑end financial reports, and other financial administrative services.

What You Will Do
  • Weekly updating books of Thrive and other Thrive entities.
  • Month‑end close of books of these companies including reconciliation of all bank, credit card, financial institutions, prepaid expenses and revenue.
  • Year‑end close of books.
Payments
  • Ensure that our vendors have the most up‑to‑date payment information.
  • Process payments to vendors, subcontractors, and other third parties.
Reporting
  • Conduct the first review of the monthly management accounts to ensure transactions have been posted to the correct accounts and departments.
  • Serve as a value‑added resource to business leaders by producing accurate, timely departmental financial reports.
  • Update monthly forecasting spreadsheet (our internal financial dashboard).
  • Prepare and submit year‑end reports to our CPA as requested.
Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following Background and Experience
  • 3‑5 years of experience providing full‑service bookkeeping services, including all aspects of payroll management.
  • US and International payroll experience is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Quickbooks, Zoho Subscriptions and Zoho Books.
  • Knowledge of integration tools (payroll to general ledger and Zoho to Quickbooks).
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration is a plus.
