We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Tax Manager to join our South Bay LA team. This flexible hybrid role offers the opportunity to work remotely and in‑person.
Responsibilities- Manage federal, state, and local income tax returns, estimated tax payments, and other filings.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services, including strategies to minimize liabilities.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on current laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax accounting records.
- Handle corporate tax, indirect taxation, international tax, and real estate tax matters.
- Advise clients on tax implications of business decisions, including M&A, restructurings, and other transactions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tax compliance, planning, financial accounting, corporate tax, tax research and advisory.
- Strong understanding of C‑corp and pass‑through taxation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA highly desirable).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Leadership experience managing a team.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with tax software and relevant computer applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
