Financial Accountant

Location: Tyldesley

The Opportunity We’re seeking a Financial Accountant to provide additional support to a purpose-led organisation, starting in January for a 5-6 month period. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running and work independently.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and reviewing audit schedules Ensuring all reconciliations are complete Drafting financial statements Managing accounts across multiple systems About You You’ll be a qualified accountant with experience in preparing statutory accounts. Knowledge of Housing or Charity SORP would be advantageous (either is fine). You’ll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, but equally confident working autonomously. Strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate multiple systems are essential.
