PERSONAL TAX MANAGER – WATFORD

SALARY: 60-65K per annum

THE ROLE

To support the continued growth of the Watford team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

* Working closely with the Tax Principals and wider team to achieve results and foster a positive team environment

* Liaising with and meeting clients to understand and meet their requirements

* Preparing personal, partnership, and trust tax returns for more complex clients

* Reviewing personal tax returns, advisory work, and technical work prepared by junior team members

* Identifying tax planning opportunities, advising clients, and assisting with implementation

* Assisting with and responding to HMRC enquiries and compliance checks

* Collaborating with multiple teams and Principals across the firm on ad-hoc advisory projects

ABOUT YOU

Ideally, you will have:

* CTA qualified (or equivalent)

* 2+ years’ PQE

* Experience gained within a personal tax practice

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and support junior team members

* Experience managing a portfolio of clients, with responsibility for compliance and identifying planning opportunities

* Good IT skills, ideally with experience using Digita tax software

* Up-to-date technical tax knowledge, supported by recent training and practical experience

* Strong communication skills with both clients and colleagues

* Remuneration dependent on experience

* Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to one week’s salary
