Overview
Euroclear Bank is a long-established leader and innovator in Collateral Management; they are looking for experienced professionals to join their growing team of Collateral Account Managers.
They offer a challenging client relationship management role in the fast-changing environment of collateral management, and their internal training path covers all of the Euroclear Collateral Products.
They also provide opportunities to attend external industry courses to train our people on the role of collateral management in the international financial markets.
Responsibilities- Building and maintaining the operational relationship
- Understanding the business profile and needs of your client portfolio and representing them internally
- Awareness, monitoring and proactive follow-up of your client activity across different collateral products
- Ensuring client satisfaction by providing added value services to your client
- Supporting your client with specific portfolio analysis to optimize collateral allocation
- Acting as external and internal facilitator for any ad hoc escalations
- Keeping your relationships aware of all new services and changes that impact their activity with Euroclear Bank
- Working together with Commercial Relationship Managers on issues related to clients or with Product Sales Specialists in Commercial Division
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Financial Institution, knowledge of settlement, or corporate actions, or new issues is an asset.
- Understanding of financial markets and knowledge of securities
- Experience in Collateral Management team is a plus
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese/Cantonese is a plus
- Strong proven relationship management skills
- Right attitude and character to interact with customers
- Strong client focus
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to build long-term effective professional relationships with customers
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to work with short deadlines
- Ability to manage Project and UAT on top of BAU
- Genuine team player
- Self-motivated, proactive and with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
- Punctual and flexible (working schedules with early and late shift until 7pm)
- High level of resistance to stress
