The ideal candidate will provide expert advice and tailored mortgage solutions to clients, ensuring they receive the best possible products to suit their financial goals. You will play a key role in guiding clients through the mortgage process, from initial consultation to completion, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

The main focus of the role will include:

• Conduct in-depth client consultations to assess financial needs and objectives
• Research and recommendsuitable mortgage products from a panel of lenders
• Offer referrals to protection team where appropriate
• Manage the end-to-end mortgage application process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate, keeping detailed records of client interactions and product recommendations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, lender criteria, and regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and other financial professionals
• Ensure compliance with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and company policies
• Achieve personal and team sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service
• Keep detailed records of client interactions and product recommendations for audit and compliance purposes

To succeed in this role, the individual will need:

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor or Broker
• Excellent understanding of mortgage products, protection policies, and the UK housing market
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• IT proficient, with experience using CRM and mortgage sourcing systems
