Eden Scott’s client is seeking a variety of experienced Defined Benefit (DB) Pension Administrator looking to join a forward‑thinking organisation where your expertise truly makes an impact?

Our client is expanding their team and seeking a number of knowledgeable, detail‑focused professional to support the delivery of high‑quality pension administration services to our clients.

As a DB Pension Administrator, you will be responsible for the accurate, compliant, and timely administration of Defined Benefit pension schemes. You’ll work closely with scheme members, employers, trustees, and internal teams to ensure exceptional service and smooth operations.

This role offers excellent flexibility — hybrid or fully remote working is available for the right candidate.

Locations:
Glasgow | Belfast | Manchester | Birmingham

Working Pattern:
Hybrid or Remote (depending on experience & location)

Employment Type:

Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Defined Benefit pension schemes in line with scheme rules and current legislation
  • Process leavers, retirements, transfers, deaths and benefit quotations
  • Maintain accurate member records and calculate pension benefits
  • Respond to member and trustee queries professionally and efficiently
  • Support scheme events such as annual benefit statements and valuations
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure SLA and compliance standards are consistently met
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across processes and service delivery
  • Previous experience within DB pension administration is essential
  • Strong understanding of pension calculations, scheme rules and UK pensions legislation
  • Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with members and stakeholders
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Proficient with MS Office; experience with pension admin systems is advantageous
