This creative and growing organisation based near Woking are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team. This is a newly created position, and you will be joining an expanding business that is looking hire a progressive & dynamic individual that can move up the business. Furthermore, this role will be mostly office based however does offer some remote working once settled in.
A brilliant opportunity for an active studier/someone with a few years of experience that is now looking for their next challenge.

The Role
In this role you will be working alongside the Finance Manager and supporting with the day to day operations in finance. In addition, you will be communicating with other departments and your key responsibilities will be:
- Process invoices, purchase orders and expense claims in line with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.
- Assisting with month end and year end closing processes including reconciliations.
- Support in the preparations of budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding balances.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to queries from staff, suppliers and other stakeholders regarding financial transactions.
- Previous experience in a finance/accounts position
- Actively studying an accountancy qualification
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong organisational skills
