Owen Reed is looking for a Junior Legal Cashier for a top law firm in London.
Working Days and
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm

The OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Legal Cashier to join a leading law firm and develop their career within legal finance. You will support the Finance team with daily cashiering tasks, working closely with senior finance professionals, fee earners, and support staff in a fast‑paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily bank reconciliations and transfers between Client and Office accounts
- Support month‑end bank reconciliations
- Assist with credit control tasks, including client reminders and payment chasing
- Escalate queries to senior finance team members when required
- Reconcile client monies held on account
- Post and recharge client disbursements and settle disbursements on receipt of funds
- Support reconciliation of credit card spend and billing recharges
- Assist with immigration‑related credit card transactions (e.g. Home Office visa fees)
- Support management of client credits and refunds
- Assist with VAT and other statutory payment processes
- Take client phone payments when required
