About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable Finance Manager to take full ownership of all day-to-day finance operations, provide accurate and timely financial information to the Senior Leadership Team and CEO/Founder to support confident decision-making, and help shape our overall financial strategy. This is a hybrid role, with four days per week at our Reading HQ and one day working from home.

What you’ll do:
  • Manage all finance operations: accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, Amex, and supplier payments.
  • Lead payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts, and year-end reporting.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning, supporting confident decision-making at the leadership level.
  • Partner across the business to improve processes, negotiate contracts, and provide clear financial insight to the CEO/Founder and senior team.
About you:
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
  • 2+ years’ experience in SME finance, ideally in professional services or agency environments.
  • Proficient in Xero (or similar cloud systems) with strong Excel skills.
  • Confident, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to communicate finance clearly to non-financial colleagues.
