• Ensure compliance of Remote’s Canadian MSB with FINTRAC and Bank of Canada’s RPAA legislation
• Draft and implement policies related to customer due diligence and transaction monitoring
• Lead AML/CTF audits for Remote’s Canadian regulated entity and other North American activities
• Maintain and update relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare and submit timely reports to regulatory authorities and conduct effectiveness reviews

• Extensive experience within the Second Line of Defence in the financial sector, specifically in Financial Crime Compliance
• Expert knowledge of Canadian payments legislation, including FINTRAC MSB rules and Bank of Canada’s RPAA
• Previous experience in Compliance and Compliance Operations roles within a global financial services company
• Must be a resident of Canada
• Professional AML / MLRO certifications and fluent in English

• Experience working with USA AML compliance regulations
• Familiarity with remote work environments
