About the role- Provide AML Enhanced Due Diligence advice and review high‑risk cases.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to Line one colleagues on fraud, scams and suspicious activity investigations.
- Conduct fraud and suspicious activity investigations with Line one and identify key root causes.
- Provide support to the Group Head of Financial Crime and senior team on complex investigations relating to internal and external fraud and money laundering suspicions.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies, coordinating responses to production orders and enquiries.
- Collate and assess financial crime management information and prepare reports for senior stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of appropriate face to face training to Operational team to accompany financial crime policies and guidance notes.
- Deputise for Financial Crime Managers at relevant committees and forums.
- Experience applying Anti‑Money Laundering and Financial Crime legislation.
- Strong knowledge of financial crime regulatory frameworks and fraud/scam methodologies.
- Relevant Financial Crime qualification (ICA, ACAMS, ACFE) or commitment to obtaining one.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience using Archer is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and work to tight deadlines.
