Auditor​/Surveyor– Asset Lending- North of England

A subsidiary of a global banking group and leading provider of corporate banking and lending facilities is seeking an experienced Auditor to join their growing Asset Based Lending division in the North of England.

This specialist team handles large and major corporate clients, many with complex Asset Based Lending facilities and sizable Receivables Finance arrangements.

This is a home-based position reporting to the Bank’s flagship office in Manchester. The role involves conducting new business surveys and performing due diligence on existing Invoice Finance & ABL clients to assess financial security and identify potential risks. All clients have borrowing facilities with the Bank, including Invoice Discounting, Syndicated, and Asset Based Lending, with annual turnovers of approximately £50 million or more.

Audits are conducted at client premises and include full analysis of management accounts and business management systems.

Previous experience in a large-ticket audit role is essential, along with knowledge of Business Lending, Banking, and/or Business Finance.

A strong understanding of accounting and financial analysis is required; qualifications such as ACCA / ACA, AAT, CIMA, or being part-qualified are desirable.
