Overview

KBL Advisory Limited are a leading firm of Insolvency Practitioners, operating across the UK from five different offices. Our skilled and friendly team is continuing to grow and we are therefore looking to recruit a corporate insolvency Administrator to join our fantastic team. This is a full-time role which offers working within an office environment, with the option of home working one day a week.

The role will be to assist senior staff members in the progression of a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including the management and progression of cases and meeting required deadlines.

Responsibilities

The Successful Candidate Will Grow Their Own Portfolio Of Cases From Appointment To Closure. Main Tasks Will Vary From Case To Case, But Generally Include:

  • Working on a portfolio of cases to include a variety of corporate work (MVLs / CVLs/ Administrations).
  • Maintain case files, ensuring they meet with statutory requirements.
  • Prepare relevant documentation for review.
  • Maintenance of estate cash books, accounting for receipts and payments and bank reconciliations.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and reclaim of final VAT refunds after de-registration.
  • Review and understand company financial statements and management accounts.
  • Conducting investigations, to include comparison of financial statements to date of insolvency.
  • Deal with creditor correspondence and claims including trade creditors, HMRC and banks.
  • Liaising with employees and assisting with claims and pension matters.
  • Maintain and update IPS.
  • Responsibility for additional ad hoc tasks as required.
Experience and Skills

Experienced administrator. Basic knowledge of insolvency legislation and general awareness of other formal insolvency procedures would be useful. Positive approach to problem solving. Good numeracy and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Awareness of confidentiality and business sensitive matters. Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.

Salary

The salary on offer is negotiable for the right person, dependent upon experience and skills.
