Head of FP&A - Hybrid or remote from

At Wakam, we are rapidly expanding our operations in the UK and are looking for a Head of FP&A to build a robust Finance department. Our company is tech‑driven and values performance, agility, and rapid execution.

Head of FPA – Hybrid or remote from UK
• Newcastle upon Tyne, UK

• Set up and structure finance activities in the UK, aligning them with the Head Office in France.
• Design, streamline and enhance financial processes and reporting to integrate seamlessly with the Head Office.
• Collaborate with French teams to develop an operating model for the UK branch.
• Produce budgets, forecasts and financial reports for the UK perimeter in partnership with headquarters.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
• Monitor and analyse UK financial performance, providing visibility to senior management.
• Report directly to the CFO UK and work cross‑functionally within a matrix structure.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (Chartered Accountancy preferred).
• Significant experience in FP&A or related financial leadership roles.
• Strong financial planning and analysis expertise, with a deep understanding of reporting processes.
• Knowledge of the insurance sector is a plus.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, strong reporting acumen, and in‑depth knowledge of financial regulations.
• High degree of rigor, detail orientation and meticulous financial practices.
• Ability to design target operating models and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
