Remote Trainee Financial Planner

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

One of our clients is looking for an ambitious and driven Trainee Financial Planner to join their growing financial advisory team. You’ll receive structured training and mentorship while working towards professional qualifications and gaining hands‑on experience supporting experienced advisers.

• Support Financial Planners with client meetings, documentation, and research
• Prepare suitability reports and client review packs
• Conduct financial product research and cashflow analysis
• Liaise with clients, providers, and compliance teams
• Maintain accurate client records using CRM systems
• Assist with pension, investment, and protection case processing
• Work towards achieving relevant financial planning qualifications
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures

• Strong interest in financial planning, wealth management, or financial services
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (desirable but not essential)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and strong numerical ability
• Professional and client‑focused approach
• Willingness to study towards CII / DipPFS / Level 4 qualifications
• Previous experience in financial services, banking, or administration
• Progress towards CII or equivalent qualifications
• Understanding of pensions, investments, and protection products
  • Experience using financial planning software or CRM systems
