Assistant Management Accountant

A fantastic permanent opportunity for a full-time Assistant Management Accountant role based in Stockport with flexible hours and hybrid working available.

• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
• Variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities
• Journals (accruals/prepayments) and Fixed Assets
• Producing financial statements for American subsidiaries
• Budget tracking and identify opportunities for cost optimisation
• Developing and improving costing system to help improve visibility and accuracy on profitability
• Product costings, pricing and profitability analysis
• Business partnering across multiple entities to provide insightful information and analysis
• Develop key management reports and KPIs across the business, analyse monthly revenue and margins
• Responsible for ensuring stock visibility and accuracy is maintained
• Support in preparing annual budget and monitor actual performance against targets

• Be studying towards ACCA or CIMA
• Have experience in a similar role
• Be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Be committed to continually progression and process improvements
• Have attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Have good organisational and time management abilities.
