If you enjoy being the engine room of a finance function, shaping reporting, tightening controls and giving the CFO real clarity on performance, this is a role with genuine influence. You won't just be producing figures. You'll be ensuring the right information lands at Board level, on time, with insight that drives decisions.

• Salary up to £65,000 with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• A visible, senior role working directly alongside the CFO
• The opportunity to shape and streamline group‑wide finance processes
• Exposure to multi‑site and international reporting
• Autonomy to improve systems, reporting and financial controls
• 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home

• Producing accurate consolidated management accounts and Board packs ready for review
• Delivering daily, weekly and monthly performance analysis with clear variance and root cause reporting
• Owning group cash forecasting and delivering reliable forward visibility
• Building and refining integrated financial models for budgeting and forecasting
• Standardising reporting, strengthening controls and improving month‑end efficiency
• Overseeing audit processes, ledger reconciliations, credit control and payment approvals

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with strong technical accounting knowledge
• Previous financial control experience within a fast‑paced environment
• Experience managing multi‑site finance teams, ideally with international exposure
• Advanced Excel capability and experience developing financial models
• Proven ability to maintain robust controls while meeting tight reporting deadlines
• Working pattern:
  Monday to Friday, 4 days office‑based, 1 day working from home
