  • This is an assistant post reporting to a team leader allowing for career progression if the opportunity arises

What will I be doing?

We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Process financial transactions in accordance with agreed practice and authorisation processes
  • Act as a local point of contact for administrative and/or finance related queries, providing advice & guidance to operational and other staff, suppliers and customers
  • Contribute to, propose and implement, solutions to many and varied problems relating to financial systems, procedures and reporting
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:

  • Experience of using finance systems and Microsoft office applications
  • At least a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English)
  • Positive, committed, thorough and confident approach.

The salary for this role is £25,185 - £25.989 per annum
