Credit Risk Manager
Function: Finance
Location: Edinburgh (St Andrews Sq) – hybrid with a mix of office & home working
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below.
Contract: 12 month fixed term contract

About the roleReporting into the Credit Risk Finance Controller, this role will support in delivering the credit risk KPI's and priorities of the UK Risk team. You'll work in accordance with financial risk controls and of course in compliance of our local credit policy along with external legislative and internal/external audit requirements.
A key part of this role is business partnering with our Front-Line Sales colleagues on all things credit related. You'll be a key contact and subject matter expert.
Key accountabilities- Provide guidance, support and constructive challenge to HGSS Credit Controllers and Team Leaders to ensure robust control of the Accounts Receivable (AR) Ledger
- Risk assess and approve proposals relating to trade credit, loan or trade investment within the teams SLA
- Constructively challenge credit proposals to ensure these comply with Heineken UK's credit and commercial policies and processes
- Deputise for the Financial Controller-Credit Risk as and when required
- Help improve the quality of credit control experience
The role doesn't require a degree in finance; however it does require someone with a solid commercial background and in-depth industry knowledge.
- Proven commercial experience
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders both internally & externally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience working as part of a larger team contributing towards both individual and joint KPIs
- Experience in a commercial lending role managing a portfolio of Small to Medium-Sized trading businesses
- Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to effectively manage and organise a varied workload
Experience managing workload within a small team, collaborating effectively and supporting shared objectives, then this could be the next step for you!
