Step into a role where your financial expertise underpins the growth of a global infrastructure asset manager and shapes outcomes for diverse businesses across the northern hemisphere. You will join a collaborative team that plays a pivotal part in delivering accurate, insightful financial guidance that supports Macquarie Asset Management’s purpose and long‑term success.

At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

What role will you play?

In this role, you take the lead as the primary finance contact for one of Macquarie Asset Management’s fast‑growing business areas, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to provide clear, commercially grounded insight that informs strategic decisions. You work with colleagues across the UK, India, the Americas and Australia to ensure results consolidated into Macquarie Group are accurate, timely and supported by a strong financial control framework.

You advise on new products, restructurings and complex transactions, shaping how financial impacts are understood. You oversee the review and governance of UK regulated fund manager entities, support month end close activities, guide statutory and group audits, and manage performance fee recognition. You also engage with portfolio companies to strengthen financial control frameworks, contribute to valuations and impairment assessments, and support the implementation of transfer pricing arrangements, all while collaborating closely with offshore teams, fund accountants and legal entity controllers.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require three days a week in our advertised location.

What you offer
  • You bring experience in financial controllership with sound judgement in a financial services environment.
  • You demonstrate strong technical accounting capability, including familiarity with IFRS, AASB or FRS standards such as IFRS 10, IFRS 9 and IAS 28.
  • You communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and manage relationships effectively across diverse teams.
  • You work proactively and independently, with curiosity and a strong problem‑solving mindset in fast‑moving environments.
  • You maintain exceptional attention to detail and consistently deliver high‑quality, accurate work.

We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
