Assistant Management Accountant

The Assistant Management Accountant is responsible for supporting the finance team to maintain accurate and timely information in our systems and for providing internal reporting and financial control.

• Work with the Finance Director to prepare monthly management accounts
• Provide assistance to the Management Accountant and other members of the Finance team as required
• Handle accruals and pre-payments
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with Asset-Based Lender processes
• Assist with the preparation of VAT submissions
• Post Amazon invoices
• Organise events and office duties
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required

• A degree or AAT Level 3 or above qualification is essential
• Must have 3 years’ experience working within an Accounts role
• Possess an understanding of month-end processes
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel is essential
• ERP knowledge is desirable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work towards deadlines and manage own time
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills
• Openness to learn
