About the Business
A fantastic opportunity to join a market‑leading services provider as a Service Charge Accountant, paying £30,000 - £34,000, based at Worcester Six Business Park. The business has a long‑established reputation and offers a friendly, collaborative environment where you'll join a sizeable Service Charge Accounting team of around 30 colleagues. This is a brilliant role for someone with a strong transactional finance background who wants to take the next step in their career while enjoying excellent benefits and genuine flexibility.
MainDuties
- Producing accurate and timely financial information that supports both decision‑making and wider business planning.
- Reconciling accounts to ensure income and expenditure are correctly captured, investigating and resolving any discrepancies that arise.
- Helping to maintain robust financial systems and safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of underlying data.
- Developing strong working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Reviewing existing processes, suggesting practical improvements and contributing to a higher standard of service delivery.
- Providing wider support to the Service Charge Accounting team across a variety of tasks as required.
The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The team operates from a modern office based at Worcester Six Business Park, working a 35‑hour week with a healthy balance between office collaboration and home working. What We Are Looking For- AAT part‑qualified, or fully qualified.
- Previous experience within a transactional finance role.
- Strong analytical capability with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy.
- Confident communicator with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Well‑organised, able to juggle competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Solid numeracy and literacy (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; exposure to income systems would be a real plus.
- Salary of £30,000 - £34,000.
