Overview

This is a brilliant opportunity to join an established and growing Investment Bank in a pivotal leadership capacity. You will support the senior business team in all matters relating to IT Governance and reporting, specifically focusing on performance, budgeting, and financial oversight. This role is designed for a motivated individual ready to influence a global enterprise at a high level.

The Role

You will define and own the enterprise IT portfolio governance strategy, framework, and operating model. This involves leading multi-year technology investment planning and the annual capital budgeting processes. Operating within a complex, matrix-managed global environment, you will bridge the gap between high-level technology strategy and financial execution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and owning the enterprise IT portfolio governance strategy and framework
• Leading multi-year technology investment planning and annual capital budgeting
• Overseeing IT Governance and reporting for performance and financial metrics
• Managing project life cycles, including planning, risk management, and change management
• Providing direct line management and mentorship to the portfolio team
• Collaborating with global senior leadership to ensure alignment on technology spend

Requirements

• Experience in a COO IT or Finance Technology function
• Strong track record within a matrix-managed global Financial Services firm
• Expert skills in planning, issue resolution, risk management, and change management
• Proven line management experience and a collaborative mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for senior stakeholder management
• Ability to design and implement global operating models
