- The Finance Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor to operational and commercial teams, using financial insight to influence decision‑making and improve business performance.
- Part of the Klipboard Finance Business Partnering team, this role will support the UK Rental, Automotive Catalogue & Data Solutions and Transport Management business units.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads and senior managers to provide financial insights that guide decision‑making.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze revenues, costs, and profitability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes; provide variance analysis and insights.
- Performance Management: Monitor KPIs, conduct variance analysis, and recommend actions to improve performance.
- Strategic Support: Develop financial models for long‑term planning and assess viability of new initiatives.
- Cost Management: Work with managers to control costs and identify savings opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present financial reports and insights to senior leadership in a clear, actionable manner.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.
- Project Support: Provide financial input for projects, including cost‑benefit analysis and post‑implementation reviews.
- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; professional accounting qualification preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years in finance roles, with at least 3 years in business partnering.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting skills; proficiency in Excel and financial systems. - Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to influence and drive change.
