Assets & Treasury Accountant

We are actively seeking a Fixed Assets & Treasury Accountant for a well established company in Manchester city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.

• Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Calculate and post depreciation
• Review capital expenditure, ensuring correct approval
• Perform regular reconciliations between the fixed asset register and the general ledger
• Support the preparation of fixed asset disclosures for statutory accounts and audits
• Manage daily cash positioning, forecasting and liquidity reporting
• Monitor bank accounts, including reconciliations and review of cash movements
• Prepare month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations relating to fixed assets and treasury
• Work closely with procurement, operations and project teams on capital projects

• Is a part qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
• Has fixed asset accounting experience
• Has experience or an understanding of treasury
• Has strong Excel skills

• Salary up to £45k
• Study support
• 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
• Hybrid working (1 day per week working from home)
