This position sits within an expanding tax team, managing a diverse client portfolio including owner-managed businesses, limited companies and high-net-worth individuals across Derby and the wider region.

You’ll take responsibility for delivering high-quality compliance work while supporting advisory projects and mentoring junior team members. The role offers a strong balance of technical work, client interaction and progression.

• Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
• Review personal tax returns and corporate tax computations
• Provide tax advisory support to clients and colleagues
• Liaise directly with clients and HMRC
• Identify tax planning opportunities
• Support and mentor junior tax staff
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements

• Experience working within an accountancy practice tax role
• ATT qualified, CTA part-qualified or qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of personal and corporate tax
• Experience managing client relationships
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive and confident working to deadlines

• £35,000 – £40,000 salary
