Position: Employment Tax - Assistant manager / Manager, Flexible Working
VANRATH are delighted to be working with a highly respected advisory firm who are expanding their Employment Tax team. This is a superb opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Manager / Manager to step into a client-facing role with strong progression, varied technical exposure, and genuine influence within a growing specialist team.

The Role This is a specialist Employment Tax position with a strong focus on share schemes, benefits, and compliance. You will work closely with a diverse client base ranging from owner-managed businesses to large corporates, advising on all aspects of employment taxes while developing your technical expertise in a high-demand area. What You Will Do Manage a portfolio of clients across employment tax matters Advise on share schemes including EMI, CSOP and other equity-based incentives Oversee and review P11D and benefits-in-kind reporting Provide guidance on PAYE, NIC and wider employment tax compliance Support on HMRC enquiries and investigations Deliver advisory projects around remuneration planning and reward structures Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development What's in It for You Clear progression pathway to Manager/ Senior Manager and beyond Exposure to high-quality, advisory-led work (not just compliance) Truly Flexible/hybrid working environment - 4 day week /compressed hours an option.
