Interim Accountant; Financial Management

Position: Interim Support Accountant (Financial Management)
MCS Group have partnered with the Northern Health & Social Care Trust to recruit an Interim Support Accountant to join their Financial Management team based in Ballymena. Reporting to the Divisional Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial management across operational Directorates, delivering insightful financial analysis, budgetary control, forecasting, and strategic financial support to senior managers and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities Support budget setting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring Produce meaningful financial and management reports Analyse complex financial and non-financial data Support efficiency savings and service improvement initiatives Liaise with budget holders, auditors, and finance teams Deputise for the Divisional Accountant when required

Essential Criteria Full CCAB or CIMA qualification Minimum 2 years' relevant finance experience at supervisory level Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills Experience interpreting complex financial data Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Full UK driving licence and access to transport The role
