Management Accountant

We're working with a highly regarded, tech-driven firm looking to add a talented Management Accountant to their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the management accounting process for a diverse portfolio of businesses, producing meaningful financial information that helps drive decision‑making and performance. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate management accounts, analysing financial results, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting.

The firm has a strong digital focus, embracing cloud-based technology, automation, and modern ways of working to create efficient and effective finance functions. You'll be encouraged to challenge existing processes, contribute ideas, and help shape best practice across the team.

• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, providing insightful analysis and commentary to support business decision‑making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and KPI reporting, helping to drive financial performance and strategic planning.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities, presenting clear recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, overseeing month‑end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and controls, while supporting and mentoring junior team members where required.

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar finance role, with responsibility for producing management accounts and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights to support decision‑making.
• Confident communicator, able to work effectively with stakeholders across the business and explain financial information clearly.
• Proactive and systems‑minded, with experience using cloud‑based accounting software and a passion for improving processes and efficiencies.
