We have recently moved from Sage to Xero so remote working on the cloud‑based platform is normal. They would review our financial procedures and systems to ensure we are making the most of the capabilities.
EVOC experienced a significant event in 2024 and has since recovered, appointed new leadership, reduced headcount by over 50% and relocated to new premises. The coming years are focussing on growth and so we are keen to hear from people with entrepreneurial skills.
What are we looking for?EVOC is seeking an experienced accountant for this position and preferably someone with business or charity experience. Understanding of the needs of an SME with turnover c.£2m and the associated risks and opportunities for a limited company and charity of this size.
The role will be strategic rather than operational and there will be scope to design reporting structures to be most effective for the board to receive finance reports that are easily understood and focus on priorities.
Experience of using Xero would be desirable but is not essential.
