Luton Rising, the Luton Council‑owned company that owns London Luton Airport, is seeking a talented and analytical Finance Analyst to support the CFO on some of the organisation’s most strategically important projects.
Salary: £53,460 - £56,681 a year plus £3,203 car benefit allowance.
Hours per week: 37.
Contract type: Permanent. This role does not attract sponsorship.
- Lead the production of robust financial models and forecasts to support business cases and strategic decisions.
- Provide complex financial analysis and scenario testing across commercial, property and airport operations.
- Support the development of Luton Rising’s future commercial model, including long‑term projections.
- Prepare clear, accurate financial projections and statements for senior management.
- Provide high-quality financial advice and insight to the CFO and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is accurate, well‑governed, confidential and aligned with organisational values.
- Significant experience in financial analysis, modelling and scenario testing within a complex organisation.
- Strong technical accounting skills, with advanced Excel and financial systems experience (e.g., Sage).
- Proven ability to provide clear, strategic financial advice at a senior level.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience supporting business cases, long‑term planning or commercial decision‑making.
- A relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post‑qualification experience.
