We are working with a well‑established international organisation with a strong presence in the Northeast, seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on an initial 3‑month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic, commercially focused environment, supporting key financial processes and delivering high‑quality insights to stakeholders.

• Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of core management accounting activities, including:
• Production of monthly management accounts with commentary
• Variance analysis and performance reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting support
• Business partnering with operational stakeholders
• Balance sheet reconciliations and ledger reviews
• Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes and systems

• We're looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented finance professional who can hit the ground running:
• Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience
• Strong experience in management accounting within a commercial environment
• Advanced Excel skills (essential)
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI (highly desirable)
• Exposure to ERP systems (experience with niche/less common systems beneficial)
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments

• Competitive salary circa £42k-£55k (pro rata)
