Investment Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis

£55,029 – £61,143 per annum (depending on experience).

Permanent, Full Time – Home based with travel to Solihull/Worcester offices 2–3 times per month.

Join our team as an Investment Analyst and play a key role in shaping our long‑term financial strategy.

• Ensure the Long‑Term Financial Plan (LTFP) is continuously updated to include the latest financial position and forecasts in collaboration with Development, Assets, Treasury and Financial Reporting.
• Maintain the LTFP’s robustness and compliance with the Group's external Financial Covenants, Financial Golden Rules, and the core strategic driver “Strong:
  Financial Stability”.
• Perform a range of financial modelling, analysis and “what‑if” scenarios to support decision making.
• Prepare reports and presentations for Senior Management, Executive, Committee and Board.
• Support data preparation for the Regulator of Social Housing, including collation, validation and timely submission.
• Contribute to wider Group projects related to investment strategy and financial planning.

• Qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) or significant analyst experience.
• Demonstrable experience in finance / financial services within a large and complex organisation with substantial capital budgets.
• Previous Housing sector experience preferred.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis in a large complex organisation.
• Advanced IT skills, including complex Excel spreadsheets (with VBA) and confidence working with high‑value projects.
• Experience developing complex and bespoke financial models.
• Experience working with operational managers in a support role and liaising with people at different levels across the business.
• Although home‑based, must be able to travel to our offices in Solihull and Worcester 2–3 times per month.
