Project assignment 6 months The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Accountant to support a statutory accounts project for a well-established organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working with complex financial information and can efficiently manage large volumes of data. The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation and compilation of a set of statutory accounts, working closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities Support the preparation and completion of statutory accounts. Assist with year-end financial reporting activities. Analyse, reconcile, and interpret large and complex data sets. Extract, manipulate, and validate financial information from multiple sources. Ensure accounting records and disclosures are accurate and compliant. Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the finance function. Identify and resolve data quality and reconciliation issues. Requirements Proven experience in an Accountant, Financial Accountant, or similar role.

Strong year-end accounting and financial reporting experience. Experience preparing or supporting statutory accounts. Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis techniques. Ability to digest and interpret large volumes of financial data quickly and accurately.
