OverviewThe KPMG Private Client Tax Team provides personal tax solutions to private clients throughout the UK, focusing on complex assignments and bespoke tax planning.

- Deliver a high‑quality personal tax service to clients.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of complex clients, advising on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax, and international tax matters.
- Provide original and creative thinking to solve tax problems, often delivering bespoke tax advice and solutions.
- Project‑manage tax advisory assignments to meet deadlines, manage risk, and ensure compliance.
- Oversee work in progress, ensuring prompt billing and cash collection.
- Oversee the performance and career development of partly and newly qualified staff.
- Qualified accountant or tax adviser with experience in personal tax, holding an ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualification.
- Strong academic record and keen insight into the issues facing private clients.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver bespoke tax solutions and provide commercial insight.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to clients, colleagues, and KPMG values.
- High analytical skills and a commercial approach to problem‑solving.
This position will largely be based in Birmingham. The role offers flexibility across 20 UK sites, with options for office work, working from home, and flexible hours.
