Interim Management Accountant

Interim Management Accountant | 3-Month Contract | Manchester City Centre | Hybrid Working £300-350 per Day Robert Walters are pleased to be partnering with an exciting and growing organisation based in Manchester City Centre who are looking to appoint an Interim Management Accountant on an initial 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to join a dynamic business and play a key role in supporting financial performance and decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded in line with reporting standards. Support business partnering activities by providing financial insights to key stakeholders across operational and commercial teams. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with senior finance leaders to maintain robust financial plans. Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities, helping drive proactive decision-making.

Produce ad-hoc analysis and management reporting to enhance visibility of business performance. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls across key accounts. Support audit requirements and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the ongoing development of finance processes and reporting capabilities. About You ACCA, ACA or CIMA Previous experience producing monthly management accounts in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to add value beyond the numbers. Comfortable operating in a hands-on role and working closely with stakeholders across the business. Experience using ERP systems would be advantageous but is not essential. SME experience would be highly beneficial. What's on Offer Initial 3-month contract. Hybrid working pattern - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
