R&D Tax Director - Hybrid or Remote

A specialist innovation and tax consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced R&D Tax Director to join its growing UK team. With a strong international presence and a collaborative culture, the business supports hundreds of companies across the UK with innovation funding and tax solutions. You’ll be joining a high-performing environment where technical expertise, teamwork, and client service are at the heart of the business.

This role will focus on leading the technical delivery of R&D tax engagements while acting as a key point of contact for clients, accounting partners, and HMRC. You’ll work closely with internal teams to support revenue growth and ensure high-quality client outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing complex R&D tax submissions and advising on claim optimisation
• Managing HMRC enquiries and resolving technical disputes
• Supporting business development and maintaining accounting partner relationships
• Delivering internal and external technical training sessions
• Providing expertise across corporation tax and Patent Box claims
