Valuation Surveyor; Home Based

Beach Baker is delighted to be working with a highly respected, long‑established national property consultancy to recruit a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) to join its national Valuation team, with a focus on loan security work for UK lenders.

Our client is a specialist valuation practice offering genuine client exposure, ownership of instructions, and a culture that rewards commercial thinking, initiative, and business development alongside technical excellence. The firm provides a full suite of real estate advisory services, including valuation, investment advisory, LPA receivership, and development expertise.

You will be responsible for delivering Red Book-compliant loan security valuations across a diverse range of commercial and mixed‑use property, supporting lending decisions for banks, building societies, and alternative lenders.

• Undertake loan security valuations for new lending, refinancing, and periodic reviews
• Manage instructions end‑to‑end, from inspection through to analysis, modelling, and reporting
• Produce clear, concise, lender‑focused valuation reports, including assumptions, sensitivities, and risk commentary
• Value a broad range of assets including office, industrial/logistics, retail, and mixed‑use
• Ensure full compliance with RICS Red Book standards, lender requirements, and internal QA processes
• Maintain robust audit trails in line with lender panel expectations
• Liaise professionally with lenders, borrowers, solicitors, and managing agents
• Support business development through relationship building and repeat instructions, with senior backing

• Proven experience in loan security valuations
• Strong understanding of secured lending risk and credit‑driven reporting
• Excellent report writing, organisational, and time‑management skills
• A proactive approach to developing long‑term client relationships
• Full UK driving licence
