Actuarial Pricing Analyst – Personal Lines Travel Portfolio
Working hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis.
Salary: £50-60,000 depending on experience plus an excellent benefits package
Location: We're flexible! Your team will be mostly based in London, so you'll just need the flexibility to travel to the London office as required for key meetings.

The opportunityAre you looking to build your actuarial pricing career in a varied and commercially focused role? This is a great opportunity to join our Delegated Authority Pricing team, working on our Personal Lines Travel portfolio.
You’ll use data and analysis to help our MGA and DA partners make better pricing decisions, support the wider business in understanding portfolio performance, and develop your skills in actuarial pricing, portfolio monitoring, stakeholder management and tools such as SQL, R and Power BI.

What will you be doing?- Carry out pricing analysis using a range of data sources to support our MGA and DA partners.
- Help maintain portfolio monitoring dashboards and use them to identify emerging trends.
- Support assessments of potential new DA portfolios, working with underwriting, finance, claims and reserving teams.
- Help improve processes, tools and reporting so the team can work more efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external DA partners.
- Experience in General Insurance pricing, actuarial or analytical work.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an eye for detail.
- Comfortable working with data and keen to develop technical skills.
- Able to explain analysis clearly to different audiences.
- Organised, curious and motivated to learn.
- Experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, R or Power BI preferred.
- Working towards actuarial qualifications.
