Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting
We are looking for a high calibre paraplanner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have top notch communication skills and be able to troubleshoot and process work in a timely and efficient manner.
Role and responsibilitiesWe are recruiting an experienced, high calibre Paraplanner, who can demonstrate a background of providing high level technical paraplanning, including the production of cash flow models and high‑quality suitability reports.
- Analyse client information and existing investments/policies
- Tax calculations
- Construct appropriate solutions for clients and make recommendations in conjunction with the advisers
- Write suitability reports for cases of varying complexity
- Run cash flow models for clients
- Be a point of contact for technical queries for planning support and advisers
- Communicate with clients on research and report time scales
- Attend client meetings where required
- Help train other members of the team
- Potentially get involved in some project work to improve systems and processes
- Undertake peer reviews for the paraplanning team
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of all financial products
- Hold the CII Level 4 diploma in regulated financial planning, and ideally working towards Chartered status
- Minimum 2‑3 years’ experience within a paraplanning role
- Strong IT skills
- Experience with Curo, FE Analytics and Voyant is advantageous
- Good attention to detail
- Good teamwork skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Organised and able to manage a busy workload
Work from the Bath office with a hybrid arrangement: 3 days in the office, remainder working from home.
BenefitsSalary £35,000‑50,000 depending on experience. 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance, income protection, pension, and access to a flexible benefits platform. The role is 37.5 hours per week between 8:30‑5:30pm.
