Assistant Accountant

Anderson Knight is currently business partnering with a key client based in the Central Belt who is seeking to recruit the position of Assistant Accountant. The vacancy has become live due to an internal promotion within their finance function. Our client has recently acquired a further business to add to their portfolio of operations.

• Monthly Management Accounts preparation
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations including Cashbooks
• Annual Statutory Accounts
• Fixed Asset Maintenance
• Sales Performance reporting, providing detailed analysis on weekly & monthly sales
• VAT & HMRC returns including all reconciliations
• Provide wider finance team with margin analysis
• Work closely with both Sales & operations to ensure company wide KPI's are met

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA candidate who is seeking to become Qualified
• Experience of SAGE and other accounting platforms is essential
• Ability to prepare accounts to at least Trial Balance
• Strong communication and oral skills
• Ability to interact with key personnel therefore you should be a self-starter

Hybrid working with a pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 working from home; on-site parking available.
