Subsidy Officer

Are you a Subsidy Officer looking for work in Northamptonshire or remotely from home? Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in Northamptonshire is looking to recruit a Subsidy Officer to provide support throughout a busy period. This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer home working.

• Proficiently use the Academy (Capita) Revenues and Benefits processing system.
• Accurately assess and process benefit claims in line with legislation and guidance.
• Assist in the preparation and completion of Housing Benefit subsidy returns and claims, working closely with auditors.
• Identify and address development needs of officers through subsidy checking, supporting the Training and Resilience team.
• Conduct reviews of benefit claims, including complex cases such as homeless, hostels, self‑employed, students, and persons from abroad.
• Ensure the Council's subsidy position is optimised and income is maximised.
