Credit Controller

We are working with an excellent, well-established client who is looking for a confident, finance professional to join their team as a Credit Controller. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has some experience working in either finance, finance admin, debt collection or credit control looking to pursue a career in Credit Control. What’s on offer Annual Salary circa £26 500 Incentive schemes 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) Hybrid after probation (3 days in office, 2 working from home) A pension – Contribute 4% and they will match you Exclusive range of high street discounts Duties & responsibilities Provide invoices and statements to customers Monitor customer credit limits and spend and obtain credit reports when required Process direct debits and take card payments Chase remittances and collect overdue debt - ensuring customer spend is within the credit limits provided to reduce the risk of potential bad debt for the business.

Manage a portfolio of various accounts and liaising with both internal and external customers to resolve day to day queries Skills & Experience Recent experience in any finance, accounting, basic finance/accounting admin, debt collection, accounts receivable and credit control Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Excellent communication skills and confident dealing with clients over the phone Problem solving skills Confident and motivated Disclaimer Due to the large number of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to every applicant.
